3 rimedi naturali per pulire un lavello in acciaio inox e mantenerlo sempre lucido.

3 natural remedies to clean a stainless steel sink and keep it always shiny.

Whoever writes this article is not a perfect man of the house, either an Italian super mom whose kitchen is cleaner than a surgical room.

I cook a little, but above all I have very little time to keep the kitchen clean and for this reason I decided to put on paper the 3 tricks that thanks to chemistry allow me to have a stainless steel sink that is always clean and shiny.

Nb: If you have a sink in another material, don't worry, here you can find the 5 tricks to clean composite sinks.

Let's start with the false myths: are chemical cleaners and products the best for this role ?! Spoiler: no. Let's find out why ...

Initially they work very well, we have tried several (from the best brands to discount ones), but the problems come in the medium and long term. The constant use of these products in the long run it is harmful to the surface and, once compromised, it will no longer be possible to make it as lucid as it once was.

For this we immediately clarify a golden rule:
Natural (and inexpensive) remedies are also best for washing your sink.

These tips are valid for all stainless steel sinks (Aisi 304, Aisi 316)

1) Use vinegar for daily cleansing

Vinegar is the most used tool in cleaning all stainless steel sinks. After having thoroughly cleaned the sink with water and a sponge, simply wet a dry cloth with white vinegar and wipe it over the entire surface. After rubbing the damp cloth, proceed with drying with a dry cloth and the steel will immediately become shiny and clean again.

2) For stubborn stains, use baking soda

In the case of more stubborn stains, sodium bicarbonate can be used, which produces a kind of abrasive peeling; it will then be sufficient to rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

3) Eliminate rust and limescale with lemon juice

Lemon juice, on the other hand, can be used to remove rust and limescale stains, while the lemon peel itself is useful for deodorising the sink.

I hope these tips can help you save time (and money!), If you have any doubts, questions or suggestions do not hesitate to write in the comments!

Thanks and good cleaning!
